Terms and Conditions
Bookings:
Tour availability is accurate as at the time of initial enquiry, however we can receive multiple enquiries for particular dates (especially on weekends and during the cooler months) and the availability status can change quickly. Unfortunately, we cannot follow-up on each enquiry we respond to and we will always accept the first confirmed booking/s we receive for a tour until our capacity is reached. We always recommend booking as early as possible to avoid any disappointment. Email is our preferred booking method.
Prices:
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Additional charges may apply if your accommodation is located outside of the Granite Belt region.
Deposit / Payment:
A deposit not exceeding 50% of the total tour cost is normally required to secure a booking. The balance of payment is due on the day of the tour. Payment options include Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or cash.
Cancellation / Rescheduling:
Bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the tour commencement time (9:30 am) without penalty, but bookings cancelled after this time will incur the cost of the deposit paid.
Tours can be rescheduled to another date up to 24 hours prior to the original tour commencement time (9:30 am). The rescheduled date is required to be within 6 months of the original tour date and the tour can only be rescheduled once.
Should tours be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances by Wine Discovery Tours, a full refund of any deposit paid will apply or guests will be offered to reschedule to another date.
Tasting Fees:
With the exception of Private VIP Tours, the tour cost does not include any wine tasting fees. Please also note that particular wineries and/or other venues may be closed unexpectedly without notice on the day of your tour.
Food and Beverages Onboard:
Food and beverages (excluding water) are not to be consumed on any vehicle without prior approval from the Driver / Guide (complimentary bottled water is available).
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted at any time on board the tour vehicle and guests must adhere to smoking regulations at any locations visited.
General:
Disruptive and/or offensive behaviour by any guests will not be tolerated and if necessary, guests will be asked to leave the tour, at their own expense. No refunds will be applicable in these circumstances.
Our tours are for adult guests only (18+) and animals / pets are not permitted (with the exception of approved Guide Dogs).
Wine Discovery Tours will normally ask guests about any dietary restrictions / allergies at the time of booking, but it is the ultimate responsibility of guests to ensure that any dietary restrictions / allergies are made known.
Guests are responsible at all times on tour for their own personal possessions and Wine Discovery Tours will not be held liable for any lost / misplaced items.
Safety and Welfare:
Due to the constantly changing COVID-19 environment, it is the responsibility of each guest to ensure they are medically fit to tour and are permitted to visit the Granite Belt region (this includes any requirements around quarantining, self-isolation, border passes / permits etc). All guests are currently required to show proof of vaccination before they can tour. Any specific COVID-SAFE regulations relating to wineries and/or other venues visited during the tour must be followed at all times.
Wine Discovery Tours will always endeavour to provide a tour as scheduled, but as a smaller operator we could be required to cancel a tour at short notice to abide by the regulatory isolation requirements of any staff member/s presenting as unwell. In addition, any public health regulations introduced by the Government applicable to the operation of our service may also require a tour to be cancelled unexpectedly.
