Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and your agreement to be bound by them is acknowledged by your confirmation email. By accepting these terms, you acknowledge and agree that all other guests travelling under your name have been informed of these conditions of travel and that you are liable for all payments and fees for the entire travelling party.
Prices:
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Additional charges may apply if your accommodation is located outside of the Granite Belt region.
Payment:
Payment for tours is usually completed on the day of the tour. Major debit / credit card is our preferred method, but we can accept cash if the exact amount is provided. Separate transactions are acceptable. There is also an option to pay the total amount within 7 days prior to the tour – please contact us for details (separate transactions are not available in this instance).
Cancellation / Rescheduling:
Bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the tour commencement time (9:30 am), but bookings cancelled after this time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour cost, unless we are able to rebook the tour to an equivalent amount with other guests from a waitlist.
Tours can be rescheduled to another date up to 48 hours prior to the original tour commencement time (9:30 am). The rescheduled date is required to be within 12 months of the original tour date and the tour can only be rescheduled once. The cancellation fee will apply if a tour is not completed within the rescheduled period.
Wine Discovery Tours will always endeavour to provide a tour as scheduled, but unforeseen mechanical and/or other circumstances may require a tour to be cancelled or amended unexpectedly. If a tour has already commenced, we will ensure guests are returned to their pick-up location by alternative means in the event of a cancellation.
Tasting Fees:
Cellar Door tasting fees are not included in the tour cost – this applies to both Discovery Tours and Private VIP Tours. Tasting fees are now standard across the Granite Belt Region. The average cost is $10 per person and at most wineries this cost is redeemable if a bottled wine purchase is made (per person).
Food and Beverages:
No alcohol, food or beverages other than water or what is provided by the Driver / Guide is to be consumed or permitted on the tour vehicle at any time.
We will usually ask if there are any dietary requirements guests may have for the lunch booking, but it is ultimately the guest’s responsibility to ensure that we have the details of any dietary allergies / restrictions.
Smoking / Vaping:
Smoking / vaping is not permitted at any time onboard the tour vehicle and guests must adhere to applicable regulations at any locations visited.
General:
Our tours are a chance to unwind, relax and enjoy the Granite Belt Region and any disruptive and/or offensive behaviour by guests will not be tolerated.
Guests are responsible at all times for their personal belongings – Wine Discovery Tours will not be liable for any misplaced or lost items.
With the exception of approved Guide or Assistance Dogs, pets are not permitted on our tours. We need to be advised at the time of booking if Guide or Assistance Dogs are joining the tour.
Unless agreed to by prior arrangement, our tours are for adult guests (18 and over) only.
